IKEA (Sales)

During my time at IKEA, particularly in the sales department, I had the opportunity to work in a variety of departments, from living rooms to kitchens, wardrobes and bedding. My manager trained and advised me, which helped me gain self-confidence and reveal my sales potential. I also had the opportunity to train new colleagues and support an outnumbered team.

Working in the kitchens department, I've been involved in larger projects with private individuals and companies, which has forced me to adapt my sales pitch and techniques.

I carried out a customer survey which helped to increase the department's sales and conversion rate by applying the principle of Pareto's law.

My managers encouraged me to be curious and find out more about the business and how the company worked, which gave me the courage to come up with ideas for improvement, especially when I presented my hackathon project.

After successfully completing my sales development, I was offered a position in the store's logistics team, which enabled me to challenge myself and take on more responsibility.

I'm grateful to my manager and the company for their support and the opportunities they've given me.
