Plaza Tango

As treasurer of the Plaza Tango association, I was responsible for managing the association's accounting and ensuring that the finances were managed in a responsible and transparent manner. I also participated in the creation of balance sheets and income statements, which allowed me to develop my financial management skills.

This role has been much more empowering than I originally imagined. I have had to pay attention to detail and be thorough to ensure that the association's finances are being managed properly. However, I have also learned to work as a team and to collaborate with the other members of the association to achieve our common goals.

I also developed my leadership and business skills by strategizing to ensure the long-term sustainability and profitability of the association. Prior to my arrival, the association was experiencing financial difficulties and it was important to find ways to make it more financially sound.

As a result, I implemented a series of measures to improve the association's financial management and to establish stable revenue streams. I also worked closely with the other members of the association to implement effective marketing and communication strategies.

Through these efforts, we have been able to turn the tide and ensure the long-term sustainability of the association. I was pleased to be able to use my business skills and leadership to contribute to the success of the association and look forward to continuing to work in such a positive way for its future.
